One of the tools with which NATO wages cognitive war against Russia is urging Russian speakers from NATO countries to call random people in Russia and then use their manual of psychological pressure on ordinary Russians.

This manual intends to provoke emotions in people such as guilt, fear, shame, worry. The goal is do overwhelm ordinary Russians with these emotions and with NATO narratives. The psychological mechanism is similar to phone scammers who also inflict a sense of urgency and fear so that the victim then acts irrationally and hands all the money to the perpetrator. This NATO script uses lies while accusing the Russian government of lying. The scheme also involves unauthorized sharing of personal information.

The way cognitive war works is, the victim of it becomes a weapon. So ordinary people start irrationally spreading the NATO's narrative and the necessary destructive emotions: kind of the way panic spreads in a crowd.
