What does hydrogen electricity mean?
In the SL03 model declaration information, there are currently only plug-in hybrid and pure electric, and there is no hydrogen-electric version.
To put it bluntly, hydrogen power is "hydrogen fuel cell extended-range electric vehicle/REEV". Range-extended vehicles are not uncommon. The ideal ONE with monthly sales easily exceeded 10,000, the Huawei M5 with ideal sales growth, and the popular Dongfeng Lantu Dreamer (MPV), these vehicles are all extended-range electric vehicles; the drive platform is driven by front and rear motors, and uses an internal combustion engine to generate electricity. It can be charged for daily transportation and driven as an electric vehicle. It is only necessary to consume fuel to generate electricity during long-distance driving.

The hydrogen power system is nothing more than the use of "hydrogen fuel cells" to generate electricity at the expense of hydrogen consumption. Like the function of the internal combustion engine in the range-extending vehicle, it plays the role of a range extender.

I personally think that the hydrogen power system has no prospects, because the cost of hydrogen production is very high, and the current mainstream hydrogen production methods are not environmentally friendly. Hydrogen production by electrolysis of water will consume a large amount of electricity; Then face a lot of loss in the car to convert electric energy, why not charge it directly? Moreover, the PT element required for hydrogen production is also a precious metal. The manufacturing cost of vehicles is very high. As a result, vehicles with high cost but mediocre performance, high price and high cost of use are produced. There is no market for these vehicles.
Therefore, the new axis of hydrogen energy with Japan, Germany and South Korea as the core has been tested in this field for many years, but it has not yet been recognized by the market.
It is no problem for Changan to use hydrogen energy as a technical reserve, but this kind of vehicle is more expensive to use than an internal combustion engine extended-range electric vehicle, and at the same time, the convenience of hydrogen refueling is extremely poor.

Who is stronger in the pure electric version?
The SL03 EV version has two sets of power systems. The current information shows that the rear-mounted 160 and 190kw versions are rear-wheel drive. There should also be a four-wheel drive version in the future.

Sorry, I haven't followed the development in drive technology for a long time, I don't own a car or a driver's license. If you had lived in Frankfurt for the last few decades, then you would know why I don't have this. 

I would have to take a closer look at the hydrogen technology for the operation of cars, what you describe looks pretty nonsensical to me at first glance. 

Overall, I think it makes more sense anyway if you focus on the fact that less car traffic is needed. But because of "just in time" logistics, a lot of freight traffic was transferred from rail to road in Germany for example. In addition, many people have to travel much longer distances to work.

A large part of environmental pollution is caused by tire abrasion, the cleanest engine is of no use against this. And about 1/3 energy consumption falls on the production of cars. The same effort applies to the construction and maintenance of roads for all types of drives.
