The way the whole thing is set up is wonky and I am not sure what national interest that little chunk of land is for Russia?
But this proves that those who idolize Russia as this great international savior policeman (yes many people believe that) are also unrealistic. Bottom line Russia looks out for its own interests like everybody else.
The main interest RU has is to maintain the international law in the world, which in this case means to go by the UN resolutions on Karabakh.

Clarification: Turkish "peacekeepers" are not mentioned in the agreement between #Russia, #Armenia and #Azerbaijan on the cessation of hostilities but Azerbaijan can legitimately deploy them on its soil, not in the part of Nagorno-Karabakh where Russian peacekeepers are stationed

No, it should be in Armenian/Russian controlled zone, as well as Shusha.
