Im Jahr 2016 ging Einiges drunter und drüber; da kann es der deutschen Qualitätspresse schonmal passieren, einen wichtigen Leak zu übersehen, bei dem zudem gemunkelt wurde, er käme von russischen, Kreml-nahen Hackern - was Julian Assange höchstselbst verneinte. Er insinuierte in einem Interview von 2016, dass der in den USA auf offener Straße erschossene Hacker Seth Rich wohl dahinter stünde (likewise den Clinton Emails). Zwei Monate später wurde Assange festgenommen.

Der Leak ist im WebArchive noch verfügbar. Er enthält u.a. 2,5K+ Dokumente der Open Society Foundation (OSF) von George Soros.

Laut einem lesenswerten Interview mit Soros im Guardian (2019) war die Ukraine dessen "Lieblingsprojekt".

Im Leak befindet sich auch Soros' Ukraine-Strategiepapier (2013), bezogen auf die Jahre 2014-17. Im Hinblick auf die Relevanz des Themas empfiehlt sich eine Aufarbeitung, und allgemein ein Blick in dieses bislang kaum medial erschlossene Rabbit Hole.

By the way - military ships usually do not stand in the middle of the canal and do not enter the internal waters of Panama for long. They call at the ports as part of some humanitarian actions and only by prior arrangement.
