Do I understand this correctly? Assange is Australian citizen. What ever he has done, he has not done it on US soil. So no US law applies to him. No US judge can legally speak any judgement about him.
So, there is no reason for handing him over to US. The whole thing is a farce. Maybe this legal nonsense is only possible in common law countries with the "rule of law".
