With respect, I don't think that's what we're seeing here.

First of all, I don't for one minute think he's sick, it seems all too convenient this close to the election. If he IS sick, and I keep having to reiterate this: the test for Covid is highly unreliable as it is being misused, being a test only to find the remnants of dead coronaviruses (these include the common cold.)

Anyhow, back to the video: If the camera were on a tripod as at first glance it appears to be, any rocking of the ship would not be visible. Also, there isn't the barest movement of the flags hanging down behind him.

This does, however look to be a highly stabilised hand-held video, which has smoothed out the jitters into that slow rocking motion that often results (I've stabilised tons of footage and I recognise it.)

There is a third possibility: that he IS on a ship and some bright spark decided to use a camera on a tripod with a stabilising gimbal. IF that is the case, then yes, that would also explain the rocking motion, but would also give the game away. Again, though, not the barest movement of those flags.

For now, I'm going with a stabilised video from a camera held at chest-level. Although that in itself seems suspicious, as if the whole thing were hurried and no proper rig set up.
