However - he was the first to stop flights from China. Then he stopped flights from Europe when nobody in EU was even thinking about closing borders. He closed US-Canada border - Canada until yesterday accepted flights from all over the world, including China and Italy with virtually no screening.
Trump plans on giving each american $1200 and for a family of 4 - $3400. Comparatively - Canadians that have to leave work because they are sick go on EI (unemployment assistance).
Show me one EU country that plans anything close to this. And Trump is right wing not liberal-socialist.
He may not be erudite and has a foul mouth but he communicates a lot better to his people compared to the others.

Nobody knows shit about this virus/weapon or whatever it is. Nobody. Best doctors are scrambling trying all sort of medicines but we can all see the piles of deaths.
What would you want him to say? Like Merkel, who said that 80% will get sick? Great fucking leader. You wanted him to say that 280mil Americans will get it and that there is no fucking hope? Would that help anything?

Stopping flights from China was part of his anti-China policies and it had nothing to do with the virus. Virus was just pretext.
