Russia cannot afford to 'not play' this strategic chess piece... this is a weapon.
They must use it. It's war... rules are different when the enemy is at the gates.
'Alliance' is not the same as endorsement. (see Russia-Israel relations)..
They MUST capture this chess piece if they can.

The saudis and UAE are completely isolated in the Muslim world Turkey, Iran, Syria, Iraq , Yemen and Lebanon hate them and countries like Qatar, Kuwait and Oman are turning towards Iran and Turkey and trying to ally with Israel will only make them more hated and may even cause them to be over thrown.

Indeed. Russia is not going to bow to Saudi interests. Saudis already offered huge money to Russia in exchange for dumping Assad. Never happened. If this can be used to weaken globalist front then it should be used similary, as downed Russian bomber jet and following coup attempt in Turkey played key role in events, that shook Turkish partnership with NATO/US significantly. Let's not forget that KSA is broke. They can go bancrupt very soon...
