Lieutenant Colonel Alison McCourt, of 22 Field Hospital, based in Aldershot, was Commanding Officer of the Kerry Town Treatment Unit between October 2014 and May 2015. Her contribution to the fight against Ebola was one of the most significant amongst the many thousands of people who came forward to help the people of Sierra Leone.

A Russian flag has appeared briefly on scaffolding outside Salisbury Cathedral.
It was spotted by workers early on Sunday but has since been removed.
John Glen, the city's MP, called it a "stupid stunt" in light of last year's Novichok attack.

Salisbury Novichok attack link to Russia made using Google
The first police on the scene of the poisoning of the former Russian spy Sergei Skripal realised the seriousness of the case after Googling his name.
Sgt Tracey Holloway said after finding his name online they realised "it could be something bigger".
When the officers went back to the station they made the link to Russia - and the possibility of a much bigger case - as they found Mr Skripal's name online.
"It was actually another CID officer who had Googled his name and then said, 'Tracey, do you want to come and have a look at this?'
"It was at that point that we got the link to the Russians side of things.

US state department - The Salisbury attack demonstrated that Russia continues to research, manufacture and stockpile chemical weapons
Possibility of further US sanctions - in order to punish this alleged breach of the 1992 Chemical Weapons Convention.
The Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Elimination Act now obliges the US government to take further measures against Russia - steps that could include everything from bans on oil imports and banking controls, to a complete halt to airline services between the two countries.

Secret documents from Britain’s chemical warfare base Porton Down have reportedly been found dumped in a London bin.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has launched an investigation after it was told thousands of pages of sensitive information were found discarded. A member of the public is said to have made the discovery of the files, which reportedly date from the early 1980s to the end of 2017. They alerted the Daily Star about the documents found in a recycling bin at a car park in north London.
Information on the papers included details of equipment carried by guards at the top-secret Wiltshire site, according to the newspaper.
Details about the responsibilities of specialised police who patrol the base and the password to computer systems were also reportedly found.
