I have no idea about technology and I am not interested in. So I am asking: Are my following considerations correct?

For electric cars (Tesla), for smartphones and for computers you need semiconductors? For semiconductors you need rare earth elements? Most rare earth element reserves seem to be in Mainland China. A company like Apple gets its delivery from Taiwan and the semiconductor industry there. The Taiwanese semiconductor industry gets its material from Mainland China. Mainland China tries to restrict the export of rare earth elements.
The problem seems to be, that even Huawei cannot built its own semiconductors and needs help from Norway (and this Norwegian company in turn needs an American specialist to do it).
So a full blockade of Taiwan could hamper US companies producing computers, smartphones and electric cars.
And as soon as Huawei has solved the problem and can produce semiconductors on its own, China can stop the export of rare earths completely.....
Is this correct?

Anyways..

China lacks the military capability to do anything about it.. they need Russia's backing, Taiwan's leadership behaviour is difficult to understand since China is their biggest trading partner, and Taiwanese people are not generally against a reunification, actually most are in favor of it as far as I know. When Israel fucked up Intel,  Taiwan's semiconducter business gained much importance. The USA lost their innovative and technological edge.. hence "the Chip act", so basically you want an AMD processor. Not that I understand much about such things.. I usually get the gist of whatever topic. Russia is working on something called "liquid light".. which looks very promising and could revolutionize the entire computer world..
