Expected deaths - 2,948,273
Excess deaths - 499,132

I've just been watching the UNSC Meeting and the Russian representative had his moment to talk about Bucha etc., but he (and also the Translator) is doing such a horrible horrible job that it hurts to watch.

I just don't get it.

I can understand the frustration you feel, but I am sure all meetings are being protocolled correctly. In September 2000 I actually visited a professional translater school to be come a professional translater for English and French, including short hand writing. When we listen or speak a different language.. we think it is easy, but matter of fact it even fucked my brain, and I got (had) quite a high IQ, but still.. I was not really good at it so I stopped trying and quit that professional route, but later in 2002 I was asked by some people of the German IGMetall Union to act as translater between them and some Northern English Unions, and I managed to do a satisfactory job, but I can tell you that it is mentally very draining.. just speaking a foreign language is not the same as translating somebodies elses speech world for word in seconds, I have the utmost respect for those who are actually good at that.
