US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has denied that the United States has any plans to bring about regime change in Russia or anywhere else.

Mr Blinken's comments come a day after President Joe Biden said his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, should not be allowed to remain in power.

"I think the president, the White House, made the point last night that, quite simply, President Putin cannot be empowered to wage war or engage in aggression against Ukraine or anyone else," Mr Blinken said on Sunday during a visit to Israel.

"As you know, and as you have heard us say repeatedly, we do not have a strategy of regime change in Russia, or anywhere else, for that matter.

"In this case, as in any case, it's up to the people of the country in question, it's up to the Russian people," he added.

Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska said on Sunday that U.S. President Joe Biden's speech in Warsaw indicated that some sort of "hellish ideological mobilisation" was underway that may usher in a much longer conflict in Ukraine.

Deripaska said he had thought the conflict in Ukraine was "mad" and that it could be stopped three weeks ago through talks.

I don't know if true, but what I heard is troubling me (probably fake news), it would be stupid to let RF forces be drawn deep into the country towards Dnieper before consolidating and securing the north, east and southern parts, no  point of allowing enemy forces (once again) to attack ones own rear. Movement should now be from Mariupol towards Odessa. They should stay away for the enterior or the RF forces may end up like the fucking Wehrmacht.. keep bombing all resources of Ukrainian army, but don't move troops too fast only to end up getting ambushed. If Russia wants to take control over everything east of Dnieper they may start with getting Kharkov under control.. just saying! And let's not forget that the Ukrainian army was trained by NATO. It would also be a good idea to secure the north to stop Poland bringing in more shit. I think that's pretty much intuitive at this point.
