Exactly what I thought. It's ~100 km to the border. If you are fit, you can even do it on foot in ~3-4 days. Maybe that's faster than by plane.
The British did it 180 years ago during the 1st Afghan War. It's not so easy:

Canada,Australia and the USA are thinking of taking out about 50000 combined I very much doubt the Taliban are going to allow Kabul airport to be in chaos for weeks and NATO cant just freely come and go they need permission or else they will get a stinger sam up their ass,but Biden's genius once again shows lets just put thousands of our best troops into a very small area surrounded on all four sides by the enemy....I dont think Sun Tzu would of thought of that one

Pounding this area, full of traitors and collaborators and occupants, with MLRS just captured, comes to mind. Hopefully, we won't see that. Humiliating was done and further unnecessary bloodshed is no needed I think. But they all are sitting ducks....
