But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.

In Germany statistics will show you that ~12 in 1,000 die every year. Methinks in USA it may be the same, it depends a bit on on life expectancy and the average age of the population.
Let's see if they still come out with the really crucial numbers, namely excess mortality per capita and in age cohorts compared to at least the last 10 years. The figures since 2016, as here in Germany, are too little for that. And with corresponding population growth or a "demographic belly" as in Germany among the >80-year-olds, absolute figures are not meaningful.
With a mortality rate of 1.2 %, that makes the potential for 12,000 more deaths with 1 million more inhabitants.
Sorry, I'm a fan of calculating percentages and checking statistics for errors in reasoning.
