And there's no need for a "vaccine" either. The flu is over and it won't be back in its present form. Any vaccine will be useless against a mutating virus.

And this is another problem: all flu's and colds are members of the coronavirus family. The terms "Coronavirus" and "Covid19" are being deliberately swapped about in the media to cause confusion.

From the material I've read, Covid-19 does mutate not as quickly as the common flu, so the thinking of the scientists is they won't need to create new vaccines nearly as fast as they do with the common flu vaccines. Scientists who have insider information of the various covid-19 vaccines in development are predicting 50-60% vaccine effectiveness for the leading candidates. Hence if the virus doesn't fizzle away by the time vaccine is ready to be widely distributed, the governments will say to the public that the only way a vaccine with only 50-60% effectiveness will help the population reach the theoretical herd immunity is if mandatory vaccinations are undertaken - such as no jab, no pay and no jab, no play (this policy was already stated openly by Australia's government infact).
