I hope folks who know me understand that I speak about US policy and system overall (and who don't know me will undestand that). Such statements as Trump's above are so huge offense to any nation around the world it's beyond believe. Yemenis have thousand year old nation, Persians have thousand year old nation. My POV: everyone supporting these crimes has lost his right to be treated as "human being". The "ignorance is bliss"-types are not much better. My wish is to get the scum erased from the earth. It's not so much that I hate them, but I love the poor victims, especially the helpless children. I grew up with the pictures from Biafra, and as I started to understand the reasons behind starvation, I wanted to remove them. But how to change a thing with so many ignorant people around? My heart is crying.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

My POV: everyone supporting these crimes has lost his right to be treated as "human being". The "ignorance is bliss"-types are not much better. My wish is to get the scum erased from the earth. It's not so much that I hate them, but I love the poor victims, especially the helpless children. I grew up with the pictures from Biafra, and as I started to understand the reasons behind starvation, I wanted to remove them. But how to change a thing with so many ignorant people around? My heart is crying.
i wish i had a dollar for every time i talk to people who "are informed and know everything that is happening in the world" but yet have never heard of Yemen and what is going on there.
The same people then tend to think nothing of importance is happening there because "they would have hear if it was"
