Basically, Russia disagrees with Syria about using AD for Turkish drones.
Syria refrains from using AD.

Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe - Page 4 697712634
eating the elephant 'one bite at a time' strategy has come to an end.

we are there. Syria is outgunned by Turkey.
Syrian AD will only trigger a severe response w/ precision weaponry
and much loss (of most recent gains)

"every inch" = WWIII (Erdogan's gamble)

The question is - are Syrians ready for Stalingrad-like battles? Are they ready to burn down their cities just to starve the enemy? Are they ready to be Turkish Afghanistan? US/NATO can be defeated. Taliban proved it right now. And every single Indo-China war did it as well. But it's waste of whole generations. And all of this make hegemons even richer. Just nuke the fuckers as Americans did already and, then, ask what now, bitches?

UPDATE: 2x Turkish F-16s intercepted by #RuAF. This comes right at #Erdogan’s deadline to Assad to withdraw. Turkey deployed 2 jets right at the minute of the deadline ending, Russia intercepted them. End of story for now.

That's bad. But you get my point, right? I thing I shred the story already but just in case. Here, in Czech Republic, was journalist of Iraqi Kurdish origin. He cheered for US invasion of Iraq. You know how it looks - son of Czech journalist and her Kurdish husband. Naturalized Czech, linked to the newspapers. Reliable. Well, some 17 years later we know better...

Russian AD in Khmeimim have full coverage over Idlib.
If Turkish F16's and bombers are there it means they either have Russian approval or Russia decided to stand down and watch Syrians getting slaughtered. If either of these is true it means Putin gave up on Assad for good.

Russian warplanes fly from the Russian Hmeimim military base in Syria towards the Turkish border, in conjunction with the entry of Turkish F-16 fighters to the airspace of the Idlib region. The area is on a hot plate

Iran to Turkey: ''All your soldiers in Syria are within our firing range, stop attacking our bases, we don't want to hurt you.''

If Turkish F16's and bombers are there it means they either have Russian approval or Russia decided to stand down and watch Syrians getting slaughtered. If either of these is true it means Putin gave up on Assad for good.

14 Kaliber cruise missiles from the Med seem to suggest otherwise, we shall see...

Kalibr is not for aerial targets.

Obviously not, but it is for Turk-backed targets on the ground in Idlib. And that will doubtless cause Turk army casualties as they appear to be embedded.

As much as I admire Mr Musk and the achievements of Spacex and will continue to avidly watch the development of Starship, I find it unfortunate that his enormous talent and vision is being capitalised upon by a nation that is rampantly tearing the world to pieces for hegemonic gain. I can't help but be reminded of Wernher von Braun.

I'm sure there was an episode of Star Trek where two civilisations conduct an entire war through simulation.
I think we're getting to that point, judging by the latest tweets.
