But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).

No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.

That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

I think Russian approach is wrong now. I remember that Putin said Russia is not allying with anybody against others and its role in Syria is to help Damascus fight against (western supported) terrorism. If I'm not wrong it was meant as response to question why Russia is not acting against Israeli strikes in Syria. This approach lets doors open for diplomacy with anybody, I can get that point.

But if state actor, in this case Turkey, acts as direct sponsor and support for the internationally recognized terrorist groups then the state actor should be treated as terrorist groups are. Not even US, mastermind of this kind of such extremist led regime change operations, dared to support terrorists in such open way as Turkey does. This Russian inactivity can strike back very soon. I read many angry comments regarding lack of Russian support against Turkish drones. Also about falling morale of the Syrian units deployed in Idlib etc. Not looking good atm...

I'm not hot-headed at all. You know me. I thought Erdogan grew a brain since failed coup. Regardiing US backed YPG my patience worked well. But this Idlib situation is different. Material, and human power, losses are significant. Even if we take in count that some of the footages are not from Syria (as in the case of destroyed Pantsir). There are people dying. People who fight the same terrorists who attack us here, in Europe (and US and elsewhere).

Salute!

Hope we will see cruise missiles working of Turkish terror supporting army soon...

Basically, Russia disagrees with Syria about using AD for Turkish drones.
Syria refrains from using AD.

@Zod

"...  There are people dying. People who fight the same terrorists who attack us here, in Europe (and US and elsewhere)."

See it the same (but I'm a bit hot headed), and for me they are also not "someone from far away".

Oil: Biggest Weekly Drop in Over 4 Years
Everything is slowing down.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/oil-prices-fall-again-track-023818579.html

Oil prices fell for a sixth straight session on Friday and were on track for about a 12% weekly fall, the biggest in more than four years,
as the spread of the coronavirus outside China raised fears of slowing global demand.

“We estimate global oil demand has fallen by ~900k b/d”

Just thinking about irreversible damage imposed by immigrants. Just take an example of Ali Özkök. He's probably 2nd generation of Turkish immigrants (didn't search for it, just my guess). He's German. But still loyal to Turkey. Now he works as Journalist, in Germany, for Turkish TRT and he shares his very biased, pro-Turkish/pro-Ottoman views as objective informations. He literally defends terrorists. And that's why, even after naturalization, immigrants can't be trusted imho. That's not racist, that's not fascist. That's fact based satement.

eating the elephant 'one bite at a time' strategy has come to an end.

we are there. Syria is outgunned by Turkey.
Syrian AD will only trigger a severe response w/ precision weaponry
and much loss (of most recent gains)

"every inch" = WWIII (Erdogan's gamble)
