The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

My take is that America knew that the Iraqi parliament are going to vote for US troops to leave Iraq tomorrow and so they killed General Qassim Soleimani at of frustration and spite as he outplayed them in Iraq.

it depends. good thing is that they have 3 day of mourning. it means they will have state funeral and will not start with response until after this 3 days. it means it will start (probably) on Monday. iran will try to put forward complaint in UN SC because it is lawful way of doing thing. nothing will be decided which is understandable. iran does not think anything will get out of this but it is important they do it for future historical reference.
then things goes to shit from monday. things will escalate and escalation will go very fast. at least whole of middle east will be effected with military response. it is hard to predict how will thing turn out because it depends on multiple factors. it would be very fortunate for all of us if it is localized on ME area. if it spreads...all bets are off

It's wide area. Many guesses hints that the reetaliation will take place in KSA and UAE, some others expect response in Iraq. There is Syria, Lebanon and Palestine in play. As well as Libya.
Personally I think KSA is really most likely target.

I think Iran will allow it's allies to start using more sophisticated weapons like MANPADS, ballistic missiles,cruise missiles and drones against Israel and America in Lebanon, Yemen,Gaza, Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq to start with and eventually Iran will pull off a massive unexpected attack on a US warship or military base.
