It's a joke that Syria or Iraq do nothing in response to these attacks by Israel at least fire a few mortar rounds at Israeli border posts in the Golan for god sake. Why is Israel so afraid of Hezbollah in Lebanon but not Iraq or Syria?

I concur. Best option is to destroy launching pads, regardless where they are. That will learn the gressors. Till then it's good training for air defense units but it gives upper hand to the agressor. But, then, Sun Tzu comes on mind...

Update4: now the IDF is saying that it struck IRGC targets southeast of Damascus near the town of Aqrab. Failed attack on Mezzah was likely a planned distraction by the IAF.
