Chinese hackers were preparing to shut down US infrastructure - FBI

US authorities have uncovered an operation https://archive.is/4dgPg in which Chinese hackers allegedly tried to infiltrate American computer systems.

They were preparing to cripple the country's critical infrastructure in the event of a conflict, said the director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray.

“China’s hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm to American citizens and communities, if or when China decides the time has come to strike,” Wray said.

Russia and Kazakhstan increase the volume of oil transit to China



Russia and Kazakhstan have officially consolidated agreements on expanding the volume of transit of Russian oil to China. According to the new agreement, the volume of transit will be increased from 7 million tons per year to 10 million tons per year.

The initial agreement between Russia and Kazakhstan was signed in December 2013 and was valid until January 1, 2024. However, the parties decided to extend cooperation and increase the volume of oil transit.
