Any western claim to moral superiority has come to an end. It is aiding and abetting genocide in Gaza. An era has come to an end. The west no longer has anything relevant to say to the world. 500 years of hegemony is over.
There have been huge protests worldwide even in countries where they banned such protests -people are waking up in Australia,France,Germany, the UK even the USA with a big protest in Washington today. What we all have to do is vote out any incumbent government that either openly supports or has pontius pilated themselves of the incomprehensible evil being unleashed if they value human life so poorly they also have no regard for yours(as covid proved)They are no longer fit for purpose

So the Eisenhower was apparently not sent to replace the Ford, as some reasonably suggested.
Now the question is: where can it possibly position itself to menace Hezbollah/Syria/Iran?
Flying/refueling over KSA seems unlikely at this juncture. But from a position in the Red Sea near the Gulf of Aqaba, its strike aircraft could conceivably refuel over Israel or Jordan, and then over Iraq from tankers based in Qatar. But that still leaves a long way to go to get to Iran without compromising payload in favor of extra fuel tanks.
Even so, a position in the far northern Red Sea seems to be one option.
The other option would be somewhere in the Gulf of Oman — but then, absent supplementary fuel tanks, the range of its strike aircraft would be limited to far southern Iran, with no plausible air-refueling capability.
Some suggest the Eisenhower CSG will enter the Persian Gulf. I cannot believe the US is dumb enough to do that, nor can I believe the Iranians would be dumb enough to permit it.
Bottom line: I just can't see what the mission is for this CSG.
So the Eisenhower was apparently not sent to replace the Ford, as some reasonably suggested.

NOW: red. Media is on the streets of Berlin as massive protests erupt for the fourth consecutive week in solidarity with Gaza in the face of Israel's ongoing genocide. Tens of thousands took to the streets also to protest Germany's crackdown on Palestinian activists after Berlin became the flashpoint of brutal police violence against pro-Palestinian protesters and racist racial profiling for weeks.
Police forces arrested at least 35 protesters, according to their figures. Many organizations anticipated November 4 as the peak of the protests that have erupted worldwide since the beginning of the war 29 days ago.

I never read anywhere, the Eisenhower should replace the Ford. First it seemed, she should join the Ford, but later it was clearly stated, she should steam to the Gulf. This suggested the Persian Gulf, but could be of course also the Gulf of Oman. Some other vessels were leaving the Gulf and entering the Red Sea from the South, fighting the Houthis. Yes, it looks reckless to present such a target just at the shores of the enemy, but for now we don't see the full plan. We will see these plans enfolding much clearer after the rendez-vous of the Carl Vinson with the Ronald Reagan and when the real course of the Theodore Roosevelt becomes visible. The US has to deal with China and Persia at the same time, so they won't reveal their cards before the time of their choosing. I think, at least one carrier will enter the Indian Ocean from the Pacific Ocean and join the Eisenhower.
The Eisenhower is in service since 1977 and was planned to be decommissioned, but her service was extended this year.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Dwight_D._Eisenhower
"Dwight D. Eisenhower is scheduled to be replaced around 2029 by the new USS Enterprise (CVN-80), a Gerald R. Ford-class carrier, that as of fall 2018, is in the steel cutting and fabrication stages of construction.[44] The exact date of the ship's inactivation and decommissioning will likely depend on many factors, including Defense Department funding considerations.[45]
As of 2023, the Navy is considering extending the service life of Dwight D. Eisenhower.[46]"
The Ford is in service since 2017, the Reagan since 2003, the Carl Vinson since 1982 and the Theodore Roosevelt since 1986 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_carriers_of_the_United_States_Navy).
So, the Eisenhower is the second oldest carrier in service (only the Nimitz is older).
"The Nimitz-class carriers have a lifespan of approximately 50 years. Estimates on decommissioning for Nimitz herself were updated in April 2022, with the Navy Press Corps indicating that, “USS Nimitz (CVN 68) is planned to be removed from the battle force in fiscal year (FY) 2025, when the ship's Terminal Off-load Program begins, with inactivation scheduled to begin in 2027.”[69]" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Nimitz)
I don't want to be a Cassandra, but I think, the Eisenhower is on her last voyage.
The Ford will very likely not leave her position in the eastern Mediterranean. She is the first of a new generation of carriers, that should replace the older generation of the Nimitz class.
