Zambeezi or any US citizen here I understand the Patriot act gave the President certain war powers without the need for congress what I dont know is can US elections be suspended or cancelled if the US is in a war?

Just trying to find some logic as to why the US is pushing serious buttons worldwide

no need to quibble over the details. srsly.

executive orders have regularly bypassed both the constitution and congress for decades.
Patriot Act. War Powers Act. r both good examples of even Congressional collusion against 'we the people'.
Congress is full of compromised attorneys who will argue over everything and accomplish absolutely nothing.
so yeah... cancellation/postponement of 2024 elections would be a piece of cake imo
especially if they want to get 'creative'... create the 'excuse'... any FF would do...
a 'limited' nuke exchange... a sunken aircraft carrier... Iran v Israel clash... easy peasy. imo.

There is a claim floating around that the IDF took hours to respond to Hamas. False.
If you watch the videos, the IDF were on the scene by the first minute, but they died very quickly and were so ineffectual they had to cover it up with a fake story about a slow response.

The IDF did not take hours to arrive to the rave as so many lied about, they were there from the start and blocked civilians off from the road causing them to get caught in cross fire as video evidence shows.

So many lies in the fog of war. The truth takes time to emerge.
