I asked this question myself. Avdiivka is the answer.. it's been fortified since 2014 and the Ukies have digged themselves in there. Sure, the Russians could certainly flatten that town, and most inhabitants with it. Somebody said that there is no quick solution to this problem. I wouldn't know, I wonder how easy or difficult it is for the Russian forces to destroy the AFU rocket launchers, as well as all other artillery, that is still used for such attacks on Donetsk. But one thing is pretty clear, the Ukie Junta isn't really shy to show the whole world their true face. Will the West pay attention now? We will see..

That's nothing like "wars" NATO engaged in. Many positions were heavily fortified after Kiev forces lost Donetsk airport. At some areas it's literally WWI artillery fighting. There are fields littered with craters after artillery duels. In Severodonetsk Kiev suffers cassualties in hundreds per day. Even western media admits it. It's up to 1k casualties per day (20% 200).
