Up to now, I thought, US is putting sanctions on Russia to hit their European partners to make profit of this war and that they didn't care about Russia. But this looks different. It seems they make China an offer, they think, China cannot refuse. But whether China refuses depends on China's calculation. China and Russia are no friends, they just have common interests. But I think, if China has the choice to throw US or Russia under the bus, the answer is clear.
