That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

walked inside. check-out counter is 8 ft from the door.
I lay down 2 twenty dollar bills in front of her and say 'Pump #7'.
cashier looks up sez 'Where's yer mask?'
I said 'I'm payin cash and going back outside.'
She says 'no mask. no sale.'
I picked up my twenties and said 'fuck off.' She sneered. I left.
Went to another station.
no problems whatsoever. They wore masks. I didn't. Happy to make the sale.
