Anywhere you see the phrase, "the New Normal" - you should reject it. It's based on fraudulent premise that #COVID19 is somehow fundamentally much greater threat than other infectious diseases, when it's not.

In Germany there is a discussion between politicians and physicians. The politicians say: There will be a second wave. The physicians say: There was never a second wave.
So for me it is clear: The politicians want to have a second wave. They have a plan and step by step this plan becomes more visible. Merkel and Macron have announced this financial program now. This would have been necessary to save EU all along. They do it now and blame it on the virus. They want to have an even closer EU and it will be an oppressive regime. Way more oppressive than even China could imagine. The economy should break down. Actually the economy is just a bubble, that has to burst anyhow. But now they blame it on the virus. I am afraid, if we do not stop them. The Nazi-era would look like a birthday party against, what they plan to do.
