I think, this is a misconception. A country like Iran would fight a war in conventional or normal terms. But US is not fighting a war this way. They fight it to support their war-industry. So it doesn't really matter to them, if they win or lose in traditional terms. As long as they fight a war, their industry is prospering. In Vietnam for example it was irrelevant to "win" the war. Already in WW2 the "winning" was done by the Soviet-Union, the production was done by the US. This is only working, if US is waging war with 3rd world countries or if they just support one side or even both. This is not working, if they face an opponent, that is able to attack US territory. So for the current situation, it is essential to deny US the war, they are desperately begging for. As soon as you attack them, they win, as long as you ignore (no war, no dollar, no trade) them, they lose.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition.
