The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).

No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.

That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

a tidbit:
UK
►How many don't earn enough to get sick pay? (Reality Check)

There's been lots of talk about whether workers in the UK who have to isolate themselves due to coronavirus will be eligible for statutory sick pay (SSP),
which is a payment of £94.25 a week paid to employees and agency workers (not self-employed people) who are unable to work.
but:
You also need to be earning at least £118 a week to get SSP.
Trade union umbrella body the TUC said that 2million workers would be ineligible on this basis, as they don't earn enough.
and about 70% of those jobs are done by women.

That sounds bad. In Germany you get the full salary payment from your employer for 6 weeks.

Are there actually figures on how many of those infected, dead and healed are men or women?

Question Question

The West has no shame, no manners, no honour, nothing. Ew, we're just a miserable disgrace to humanity. It sucks. I want it to stop, it's getting more and more unbearable every day.

"This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super-states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace." - "The Obsolete Man" - The Twilight Zone, 1961

"I assure you, ladies and gentlemen that, very soon history will show that we and our allies have fought a war on behalf of the whole world against terrorism supported by governments that will be held accountable by its own people..."
Quoting Dostoyevsky:
"Rest assured, hell is big enough for all. It doesn't deserve this fierce competition over who will be the worst." - Dr. Bashar Jaafari, UNSC session, 22nd of February, 2018

#1 - Wuhan (Novel) Corona Virus - looming pandemy of deadly pneumonia? - Page 31 Empty Re: #1 - Wuhan (Novel) Corona Virus - looming pandemy of deadly pneumonia?

asthma drug appears to be effective in reducing symptoms of coronavirus patients who developed pneumonia.

report says three patients were given an asthma drug called Ciclesonide, a steroid inhalant to suppress the immune system.
(steroid keeps virus triggered lungs from 'naturally' emitting mucus as an immuno-defense/causing pneumonia from 'coated' tissue)

The medical team said the patients were all over 65 years of age and had oxygen support, but were not in serious condition.
The research shows that the patients were given Ciclesonide on February 20 and their health improved in about two days. A 73-year-old woman is said to have been discharged.

That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

....with little to NO health infrastructure.

the 'untrained young' must care/assist parents/grand parents.
community care not professional care.
the only choice for 3rd world.

COVID 19 is 15 times more fatal than the flu. Carriers are contagious 2-14 days at least after contracting it. A person can be contagious days before symptoms show. It can be passed after only a few seconds of proximity, through the breath. A person merely has to breathe in to contract. The average carrier infects 4 other people. Up to 10% of infected need to be hospitalized due to respiratory distress, sometimes for several weeks. 75% of the infected need to be quarantined just to level out the rate of spread. The full extent of the spread is not even remotely known due to lack of test kits and the long incubation period, coupled with the similarity with the common cold.

So in short, it’s a bad disease and we have no idea how widespread it is.
