The subject of the Muslim Brotherhood is an interesting one. Erdogan is the destroyer of Syria, no doubt about it and it will be a good day when he is out. Recently when Trump pushed for designation of Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organisation Iran strongly opposed it and defended MB which sparked anger by Syrians who view them as enemies. But it looks like Iran wants another ally which is strongly anti-Saudi/Gulf and anti-Israeli, which would support them on those matters. It is interesting that Iran and Turkey are still friends after all these years of Syrian civil war and being on opposite sides in the conflict. Hamas and Hezbollah reconciled and Hamas returned to their "Axis of Resistance".
Imo it would be better if Egypt is governed by the Muslim Brotherhood than a man like Mubarak or Sisi. They will not be with the Saudis and Gulf countries against Iran in their conflict and also it creates very serious problems for the Zionists if the Muslim Brotherhood is in power in Egypt, as it borders Gaza where the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood Hamas is in power. Israel needs anti-MB anti-Hamas regime in Egypt. This is why Morsi lasted for only 1 year as president of Egypt.

Imo it would be better if Egypt is governed by the Muslim Brotherhood than a man like Mubarak or Sisi. Also, Whittaker registered his GLP account three days after 'arab spring' started in 2010 (no coincidence imo). His most focused and active threads I ever saw on GLP were the ones involving the events in Egypt and Libya. In other words, if this Egypt situation gets heated then keep your eyes peeled on the other place for the funny business again.

as-Sisi comes from the military. The Egyptian military has close ties to the US military. They have joined training programs. But as-Sisi is not unfriendly with Putin. Is was clear at least, when he took money from the Saudis and sent support in the Saudi campaign against the Houthis (originally army and navy support, later only navy support on the Red Sea). He does not allow Iranian oil tankers passing the canal on route to Syria. In the beginning, he allowed Iranian navy to use the canal. But then the Zionist cried loud....
