It's over for the US in Syria now as Turkey,Russia and Syrian government already control M4 highway and Syrian government is now deployed to Tabqa, Raqqa Hasakah and Manbij. Some US hawks talk about staying in Deir Ezzor but How? The highways leading to Deir Ezzor will be blocked by Syrian government, the airport in Deir Ezzor is controlled by Syrian government and the PMF in Iraq will block the Syrian/Iraqi borders so there is no way for US to be supplied in Deir Ezzor by land, air or borders unless the US recaptures the M4 highway which isn't going to happen. Even supplies from Iraqi Kurdistan can now be blocked by Syrian government as soon as it enters Hasakah on way to Deir Ezzor.
