the US 'only' trading 'restrictions' preventing you from employing winning strategies and

Coastal nuclear plants commonly dump into the ocean water that contains tritium, an isotope of hydrogen that is hard to separate and is considered to be relatively harmless.

Tepco, which also faces opposition from fishermen, admitted last year that the water in its tanks still contained contaminants beside tritium.

“The government must commit to the only environmentally acceptable option for managing this water crisis which is long term storage and processing to remove radioactivity, including tritium,” Shaun Burnie, senior nuclear specialist with Greenpeace Germany, said in an email.

BTW, Rosatom experts who were inspecting situation from the very start, predicted just that and suggested that it's better to not accumulate highly-contaminated water, but dump lightly-contaminated one into the ocean. If you'll be dumping the waste there anyway (which is inevitable with this particular type of disaster), it's better to at least give nature a chance to adapt to changes and counter it by doing it slowly.
But now... Well, it's like a difference between taking out your garbage every day and accumulating it for several years and than taking it out in a bulk. Eventually garbage collectors (i.e. nature) will of course manage to deal with it, but with excessive effort and much worse consequences. Not to mention that your house stinks too.

OIC condemns Netanyahu's remarks on the West Bank and welcomes Saudi Arabia's call for an emergency meeting.

Saudi policy is strange the crown Prince meets pro Israel evangelicals and then acts suprised when Netanyahu emboldened by this gets more aggressive in the West bank and so calls an emergency meeting to condemn Israel.

1. The king is anti Israel and crown Prince not so much anti Israel so it may have been the king who called the OIC meeting.

2. Saudi Arabia is starting to realise that Iran and Turkey are looking like the 2 leaders of the Islamic world because of there strong support of Palestinians and Kashmir and so Saudi Arabia by calling this meeting is trying to get some credit back.
