Breaking: Gunfire Near Chad Presidential Palace, Attackers Reportedly Neutralized
Gunfire erupted Wednesday evening near the presidential palace in Chad's capital, N'Djamena.
According to AFP, citing a security source, armed men launched an attack on the interior of the presidential compound.
Reports suggest the attempted assault may have been carried out by Boko Haram militants targeting the palace.
The video allegedly shows several attackers being neutralized by the Chadian army during the incident.
Security forces have established control in the area around the presidential palace in N'Djamena, with no unrest reported, a source in Chad's security service told RIA Novosti.
What is known about the terrorist attack on the presidential palace in Chad:
Gunfire near the presidential palace began around 20:45. The President of the country, Mahamat Déby Itno, was inside the palace;
There are fatalities and injuries following the gunfire, with the exact number being clarified;
Air traffic with the capital of Chad, N'Djamena, has not been disrupted;
The Minister of Infrastructure, Overcoming Isolation, and Road Networks stated that the situation in N'Djamena is under control and there is no cause for panic;
The Foreign Minister of Chad described the terrorist attack by "Boko Haram" as an attempt to destabilize the country.
19 people, including 18 attackers, were killed in an assault on the presidential palace in Chad. This was reported by the AFP news agency, citing the country's authorities.

Мы предлагаем выразить положительную позицию, исходя из ряда обстоятельств", — сказал он.

Мирзоян отметил, что в последние годы между Арменией и ЕС сложились интенсивные и динамичные отношения. По его словам, Евросоюз выразил политическую поддержку Армении, “обеспечивая среду безопасности вокруг страны”. “ЕС также выразили готовность поддержать укрепление экономической устойчивости Армении. Очевидно, что ЕС имеет очень богатые демократические традиции, свободную конкурентную среду и передовую науку”, — отметил он.

Ранее глава Армении Никол Пашинян сообщил, что армянская делегация не приедет на следующий саммит ЕАЭС в Минске. Во время заседания Высшего Евразийского экономического совета он поспорил с Лукашенко, заявив, что Армения будет участвовать только в удаленном формате. После этого глава Беларуси намекнул, что представителям страны могут отключить устройства для онлайн-участия.

The draft law "On initiating the process of the Republic of Armenia's accession to the European Union" was presented by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
