There is a (very poor) reconstruction of these posts in the 1985 movie "Battle for Moscow".

By the evening, policemen joined the people's outposts and also began to participate in the elimination of alarmists.

But not everyone rushed out of the city, obeying the calls of unfamiliar voices on the phone, not all the directors turned out to be cheap panickers — there were many who continued their work. Many people not in high positions remained calm — they formed the backbone of the people's outposts, which dealt with the alarmists.



Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was in fact in Moscow on November 16-17 and participated as a member of Komsomol in the people's outposts. She is the epitome of steadfastness! Now that Damascus has fallen, what does this mean for Russia?

One practical issue is the Central Asian jihadists.

What will happen to the many thousands of Central Asian jihadists? Mostly Uzbeks, Tajiks and Uyghurs, will they stay in Syria? Will they attempt to go home? Or will they be prepared for use in another area, presumably Russia?

As we discussed a week ago, the Central Asian countries should be seriously re-evaluating their relationship with their "big brother" Turkey. Erdogan has an army, thousands?, tens of thousands?, of Central Asian militants who are beholden to Turkey and violently opposed to their regimes, especially in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, bit also the other Central Asian countries.Instability in Central Asia means instability for Russia. 

But even more important, these militants are also violently opposed to Russia. 

And we mustn't forget the Chechens who are part of this HTS mercenary group. Some were fighting in Ukraine where they learned modern military craft, including the use of drones. which they have been imparting to their Central Asian "brothers". 

Do we have any doubts that the anglo overlords of HTS would love to unleash these forces on Russia? In Ukraine? A new front in Central Asia? In the Caucasus? 

Or will these Uzbek and Tajik jihadists be infiltrated as "workers" into Russia to act as terrorist cells?

The situation around Syria and the theory of controlled chaos

Let's look at the unfolding situation from the perspective of what we knew, but forgot over the past years.

Let's start with the main thing: why did Russia help Bashar al-Assad and appear in the Syrian sands? Because the US and Britain formed the ISIS group (banned in Russia) in Iraq and Syria and turned the territory of these two countries into a field of chaos.

What was the source of chaos in the Middle East? The Anglo-Saxon policy. And what was its instrument? The so-called "Arab Spring". This is a series of coups and conflicts that were launched by the West in this region in 2010-2011. By May 2012, the government was overthrown in Tunisia, Egypt (a little later, the military regained power during a counter-coup!), Libya and Yemen. And in Sudan, the population of the South held a referendum and created their own independent state - South Sudan. In Syria, Libya and Yemen, "protests" escalated into civil wars.

When did the "Arab Spring" end? When Russian troops landed in Syria. Let me remind you that our guys appeared here on September 30, 2015, and then over the course of two years, they basically defeated the ISIS group. Immediately after that, as if by magic, coups stopped happening in this region.

Let's make an intermediate summary: Russia's actions made it possible to stop the chaos that the Anglo-Saxons were moving towards our borders against the backdrop of the chaos that they were moving towards our borders by starting a civil war in Ukraine in 2014.
Moscow's actions in Syria were a response to the West's actions in Ukraine and an attempt to open a "second front."

At the same time, the Anglo-Saxons have not abandoned their tactics of "controlled chaos" and continue to move it towards our borders. The distance between the shortest points of the borders of Russia and Syria is about 800 kilometers.

And what countries lie on the path of chaos that the Anglo-Saxons are moving towards our borders from the Middle East? Which ones are nearby? Look at the map, it'll be interesting for you.

On the left below, next to Syria, is the territory of Israel, the Gaza Strip is there. A little higher is Lebanon, where the baskets are full of chaos, and war can start and end at least every day. To the right of Syria is the territory of Iraq, where the secular authorities are only just trying to strengthen themselves. Everything is shaky.

We continue along the path of possible chaos to the borders of Russia. Turkey is on its way. Stable and strong? Oh, really. Ten months after the appearance of the Russian army in Syria, an attempt at a coup d'etat took place in Turkey in the summer of 2016. Under the same Erdogan. And the coincidence in timing is not accidental - the Anglo-Saxons blew up and brought chaos to the entire region at the same time.

And what countries are next, after Turkey? Armenia and Georgia. The West is courting the first and dragging it away from Russia. And it is directly attempted to blow up the second one through a “colour revolution,” no different from the notorious “Arab Spring.”

I believe the plan of Russia's opponents has become clearer to you: chaos, its logistics and route. The final goal is us.

Nothing new. Just a new stage in the implementation of an old plan that is more than ten years old.

Communist Party of Turkey: "In Syria, Israel and the USA have won a temporary victory using the jihadists"

On the occasion of the fall of Damascus in the hands of the armed jihadists and the alleged overthrow of the Assad government, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) issued the following statement:


"The plan put into effect by the US imperialism and the reactionary forces in the region about 15 years ago in order for the disintegration of Syria has succeeded as of yesterday. The jihadist forces mobilised by the USA, Israel, Britain and the AKP government overthrew the Syrian government in a short period of one week.


Peace and stability will not come to Syria as they claim. On the contrary, in Syria, where massacres, occupations, looting and plundering, endless conflicts have been taking place for years, the era of barbarism will be opened as the last remaining point that restrained all these, even if only a little, has been eliminated.

However, US ‘peace’ is always bloody, always prone to new conflicts. Peace, stability and tranquility in Syria can only be established when imperialism and the jihadists are defeated.

A resistance against imperialism and Zionism will certainly emerge in Syria. That this resistance acts without relying on other international powers, with a revolutionary perspective, defending secularism and being unifying, depends to some extent on the developments in Turkey.

In Syria, Israel and the USA have won a temporary victory using the jihadists. 

Israel, the USA and jihadism must be defeated in Turkey.

We appeal to all our citizens. This is not a game. If we care about our country and our future, we need to talk about how to stand up and get rid of this barbarism and do the necessary. What is happening in Syria is proof of what sectarianism, religionism, nationalism and relying on foreign powers can lead to.

Turkey must change if it is to continue to exist. There can be no unity in a country where exploitation, inequality and injustice are rife. 

After the developments in Syria, it is essential to restrain the excitement of the Neo-Ottomanist circles who dream of ‘expansion’. This Neo-Ottomanist approach not only means attempting to cover up exploitation, inequality and injustice with conquestism, but also leads to the enactment of a plan that will lead to the disintegration of Turkey.

Our country and our citizens are facing a great test. Either we will defeat the exploitative, religious, Americanist mentality that has brought our country to the brink of the cliff, or we will tumble into that cliff.

We trust ourselves, our people and humanity.

There is no bright horizon for Syria. The fall of Assad’s regime may signal the end of one form of tyranny, but what lies ahead is a grim repetition of exploitation. Imperialist powers, circling like vultures, are poised to replace one exploitative system with another one that, like Assad’s, will thrive on the backs of Syria’s workers while serving foreign interests.
For decades, the workers the true lifeblood of this country have built its cities, tilled its fields, and fueled its economy, yet they remain voiceless, stripped of power and dignity.
Even now, in this supposed "new dawn," there is no sign that the future belongs to them. Instead, it seems destined to repeat the same cycles of exploitation, wrapped in new slogans and false promises.
Unless the workers awaken to their collective strength, Syria will remain a playground for imperialists and capitalist elites. Without unity and action, the dreams of freedom, justice, and sovereignty will crumble under the weight of betrayal once again. The question is no longer if the workers can rise it’s whether they’ll recognize the urgency of doing so before it’s too late.
Yet, amidst this despair, there lies a spark of possibility a chance for Syria’s workers, students, and intellectuals to reshape the narrative. By raising the banners of Palestine and socialism, they can ignite new flames of hope and lay the foundations for revolutionary change. These symbols are not just aspirations; they represent the solidarity, justice, and resistance that can unify the progressive forces of Syria against both imperialism and reactionary chaos.
This is no idle dream. If reactionary religious/imperialist forces can exploit the turmoil to project their strength, why should progressive forces those who stand for equality, liberation, and a future beyond oppression not do the same? A world ready to rally behind their cause exists.
The workers of the world, the oppressed, can all stand as allies.
It is time to build those red resistance to organize against the chaos, and to reclaim Syria not as a pawn of imperialist or reactionary forces, but as a beacon of struggle and hope for the oppressed everywhere.
