Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has described any threats to the territorial integrity of neighboring countries or redrawing of boundaries as a red line for the Islamic Republic.

In a post published on the social media platform X on Thursday, the top Iranian diplomat emphasized that regional stability plays a very significant role in country’s national security.

Moscow and Baku want Russia to monitor and control the corridor, but Yerevan and Tehran are opposed to such a scheme.

China offers Africa $51 bln in fresh funding, promises a million jobs

President Xi Jinping pledged on Thursday to step up China's support to Africa with funding of nearly $51 billion, backing for more infrastructure initiatives and a promise to create at least 1 million jobs.

"A third of the world's population lives in China and Africa. Global development is impossible without the modernization of China and African countries," Chinese President Xi Jinping said at the opening ceremony of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit.

According to the Chinese leader, the joint program provides for active cooperation in 10 main areas, including trade, industry, healthcare, agriculture, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, green industries and security.

Xi Jinping noted that China will provide Africa with 360 billion yuan (more than $50 billion) in partnership projects over the next three years. Among them:
joint program in the field of green energy, space industry, monitoring of natural disasters and conservation of biodiversity;
a program for the development of industrial clusters, as well as small and medium businesses in African countries;
training women and youth from Africa, creation of joint universities and research institutes;
training of 6 thousand military personnel and thousands of law enforcement officers.

The Chinese President stressed that China-Africa cooperation is experiencing the best period in its history. In order to improve the tactical situation in the Toretsk sector, the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov was engaged in defensive and offensive operations in and around the village of New York.

At the time the brigade was deployed to the area, the situation on the front line was catastrophic. However, thanks to the high morale, courage and professionalism of the brigade's fighters, Azov managed to stabilize the situation, regain control of part of New York and unblock the Defense Forces, which were surrounded by enemy troops.

At the moment, the situation remains tense. The Russians conduct up to 15 assaults per day in the brigade's area of responsibility. Despite the intense combat actions, our soldiers are holding the line and successfully counterattacking.

The enemy has repeatedly claimed to have completely occupied New York. However, this is another manipulation of the invaders. The defense forces control part of the settlement and are doing everything possible to liberate Ukrainian territories.
