Boris Johnson has alluded to Nigel Farage as a threat to the UK,  putting him in the same category as known Marxist Jeremy Corbyn, and  said that only he can save the country.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, Mr Johnson said:  “I truly believe only I can steer the country between the Scylla and  Charybdis of Corbyn and Farage and onto calmer water. This can only be  achieved by delivering Brexit as promised on October 31 and delivering a  One Nation Tory agenda.”
Scylla and Charybdis were a pair of sea monsters from Greek mythology  who sat on either side of the Strait of Messina between Sicily and the  Italian mainland.
  In the wide-ranging interview, Boris said that he will aim to take  the UK out of the bloc on October 31st and will withhold the £39 billion  withdrawal payments reportedly owed to the EU until better terms are  negotiated, including ditching the ‘backstop’ preventing a so-called  hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
However, EU Chief negotiator Michel Barnier has said  that no such renegotiation will be possible. In a stark warning to the  Conservative Party leadership hopefuls, he said that renegotiation was  not an option, whether to alter the backstop or anything else. In a  press conference in Slovakia on Friday, Mr Barnier said that the  withdrawal treaty agreed with Theresa May was “the only one possible”,  adding: “A new prime minister will not change the problem.”

Despite being a leading figure in the Brexit campaign, many have  urged wariness of Boris Johnson for his reputation as a notorious  careerist and his apparent willingness to change his views to suit his  ambitions. Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage said last  week that he had some “quite serious concerns” over Johnson, pointing  out that Johnson had voted for Mrs May’s withdrawal agreement on the  third time of asking despite previously rejecting it.
It was reported by The Sun last week that remainer MPs had  begun to be won over by Boris as they saw him and his views as  “malleable”. One senior Remain minister said:  “Boris is malleable. Boris will do what is in Boris’s own best  interests, as and when the time comes. If that means going ahead with a  second referendum as the only way through the impasse, then that’s what  he will do. Some colleagues who don’t see eye to eye with Boris see that  as their best opportunity.”
As well as referring to Nigel Farage in the same breath as hard-left Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Mr Johnson also shunned a meeting with President Donald Trump during the President’s state visit last week — despite the President saying that Johnson would make a “great prime minister” and offering a meeting between the two — thus further calling into question Mr Johnson’s political stances.
As it stands, Johnson is currently the favourite to take over from Theresa May as Conservative leader and prime minister.

Mike Pompeo Threatens To Intervene In British Democracy To Stop Corbyn Becoming Prime Minister

US Secretary for State Mike Pompeo has come under fire after a recording emerged of him saying he’d intervene to stop Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister. In the recording first reported by the Washington Post, Pompeo suggests he won’t wait for Corbyn to be elected, rather he’ll attempt to stop it from being possible.

The off the record meeting was from when The Secretary for State met Jewish leaders Zionist political representatives to discuss Donald Trump’s proposed Peace Deal between Palestine and Israel.

Considering the allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential elections, the irony here is inescapable. The top US diplomat told those in attendance;

“It could be that Mr. Corbyn manages to run the gantlet and get elected. It’s possible. You should know, we won’t wait for him to do those things to begin to push back. We will do our level best,

“It’s too risky and too important and too hard once it’s already happened.”

This response received a voracious round of applause from those in the meeting.

These remarks raise serious questions about US interference in UK Politics. It has been alleged by many, that Russia played a part in the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union (EU). Now a top US official wants to influence a General Election or perhaps have Corbyn removed as Labour Party leader.

Pompeo’s promise to intervene against Corbyn should surprise no one

The alt media-verse is currently on fire with the news that the US State Dept’s answer to Al Capone, Mike Pompeo, has been caught promising “Jewish leaders” to send the boys round to Jeremy Corbyn if he should get elected and subsequently prove to be uppity and out of line.

Of course the idea the “Jewish leaders” harbor any real fear that Jeremy Corbyn (Jeremy Corbyn!) is going to make life “difficult” for British Jews if elected is simply risible. They know, just as every moderately informed person knows, that that’s absurd. They know Corbyn has no wish to make life difficult for anybody – except possibly the uber wealthy and the profiteer class.

They know the “antisemitism” fear is just a cover for the very very real fear that a Corbyn government will break the unwritten rules of modern western governance and reject the agenda of austerity, exploitation and perpetual war that has been creating huge profits and ideological thrills for the blessed few over the last twenty years.

They know that what Pompeo is promising is action to prevent this possibility coming about.

People are up in arms about this, and some seem quite shocked. Apparently the idea the neoliberal elites would try regime change or regime-control on a relatively prosperous western country was something they didn’t previously think possible.

Unfortunately it’s more than possible. The state apparatus of the different western nations are a tight bond of mutual regard and interest, just as likely to foment regime change on their own or their allies’ elected representatives as on those of impoverished or “developing” countries, if they believe those representatives threaten the perceived interests of the state. Of course it isn’t too often necessary, since the same western state apparatus also works to ensure that only governments that don’t threaten perceived state interests manage to get elected. But, when the unthinkable happens, MI5 and the CIA are quite happy to step up to the plate and throw their own or their allies’ democratic governments out the window.It’s happened – or nearly happened – at least twice in the last fifty years.
